Sculpt Your Figure, Love Your Curves

It is common for people who have lost a significant amount of weight to be left with loose skin that can hang from the lower body. If you’ve fought the good fight and lost a large amount of weight and are now fighting loose tissue and sagging skin, a lower body lift (also known as a belt lipectomy) may be the right answer for you.

The Benefits of a Body Lift

A lower body lift works to give your body the slender form and smoother contour you desire. It does this by vertically tightening the skin around your lower mid-section and the surrounding areas.

A body lift corrects:

  • Excess tissue and fat
  • Sagging, loose skin
  • Skin that’s dimpled and uneven

The Body Lift Procedure

A lower body lift begins with an incision that’s made around the waist. After the skin has been pulled back, excess tissue is removed from three key areas: the butt, the back of the thighs, and the hips. Liposuction may also be performed in order to achieve tone and definition.

Due to the extensive nature of this procedure, your surgery may last between three to seven hours, and you may be required to stay multiple nights for observation. Each individual patient recovers at a different rate, but you can expect four to six weeks of recovery after surgery.
